Intensive Foundational Skills Program

Hopeful Hands, in-clinic intensive programs are designed to serve individuals that are developing foundational skills in communication, social play and reciprocity, adaptive life skills, and independence. Our programs are tailored to learner’s specific needs while capitalizing on their unique strengths and preferences.

Our intensive 12 week ABA program entails 12hrs of ABA, speech and language consultation, and parent coaching each week. We serve early learners Monday-Thursday in either a morning, 8:30-11:30am, or afternoon, 12:30-3:30pm, cohort. Our intensive program serves school-age learners Tuesday-Friday 4-7pm. Participants will receive both group and 1:1 intervention with a certified behavior technician (CBT). Supervision, parent coaching, and coordination of care will be provided by a licensed board certified behavior analyst (BCBA, LBA). Individual goals will be identified by formal assessment, developmental appropriateness, cultural preferences, and family priorities.

Weekly consultation and support from a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) is an integral part of the program. The SLP will guide and support language and communication goals. Parent/caregiver participation is crucial for learning and generalizing new skills. A weekly parent/caregiver coaching session with the supervising BCBA is a required component to participate in this program. There are options for in-person or remote parent coaching sessions to accommodate busy schedules.
