Short Term Consultations

 Short-term consultation is a 12-week individualized program, lead by a licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA, LBA).  Short-term consultation is for targeting a specific global goal that will have a significant impact for the learner and family. Parent/caregiver participation is required for learning how to support the targeted skill across environments and as needs in relation to the goal evolve. 

Formal and informal assessment, conducted by the BCBA, LBA, as well as client and family interview will be part of the intake process. Client preferences, developmental appropriateness, cultural considerations, and parent/caregiver concern will also guide the program. This is an effective option for targeting areas such as a singular life skill, a specific social construct, or behavior management systems.
